OVERVIEW

Tugatog National High School teaches students from grades seven through ten in Malabon, Third District of the National Capital Region. The school has 26 Instructional rooms, 2 Computer laboratories, 1 Science laboratory, and  1 Joy library, which are all powered by a power grid. With 1,786 students, the class size is around 40 students and Dr. Elsie P. Emerenciana is the School Principal. 

Enrollment for S.Y. 2022-2023

For the 2022-23 school year, Tugatog National High School has  1,786  students enrolled. 

For the past 3 years enrollment among male students in Grade 7, 8 and 9 is fluctuating and  Grade 10 is decreasing.

Enrollment among female students in the past 3 years Grade 7, 8 and 10 are fluctuating while Grade 9 has a notable decreasing.

Majority of the learners are in normal level on the nutritional status. There are more male severely wasted
learners than female.

Building and Management

Tugatog has a total of 26 classrooms. The school has at least one canteen, 2 computer laboratories, 1 science laboratory, 1 TLE laboratory, library, LRMDS and office. The instructional rooms are standard rooms that meet the DepEd’s guidelines for safety and usability.

With 1, 786 students and 26 rooms actively used for teaching, Tugatog has an average class size of 40.

Almost ALL teachers were trained during INSET/SLAC &
Mass Training on K-12 Curriculum related to content & pedagogy.

Most of the funding source of the school came from MOOE and followed by the LGU fund,
a smaller amount derived from different donors while the smallest sourceis from canteen fund
which is run by teacher’s cooperative

PERFORMANCE INDICATORS: ACCESS

The school maintained, for the past three years, a zero drop-out rate. Due to its interventions implemented like
Project EASE, Home Visitation and Regular update of SARDO 0.16% Drop-Out Rate due to family intervention.
